Örebro today is the eighth largest city in Sweden, with about 119,000 inhabitants. The city is no longer dominated by any particular industry or trade, and now has a many-facetted economy. Industry is directed towards metal goods, machines, foods and graphic products. The former shoe town has become a prominent center for education.

Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, is a city with a story that spans more than a thousand years. Its coastal setting has long shaped its character, blending African, Arab, and Persian influences that can still be seen in its culture and architecture today.

Wadi Rum, often called the “Valley of the Moon,” is a desert landscape in southern Jordan renowned for its dramatic sandstone mountains, sweeping red sand dunes, and ancient history carved into the rock. Its vast, otherworldly scenery has made it both a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a backdrop for films set on distant planets.

Located in southeast Tennessee, it is the home of the TVA and was the site of two famous Civil War battles: Chattanooga and Chicamauga

Nearly 80% of the city was destroyed in WWII. It is now known for its many museums, including the Museum of Tapestry, the Brothers Grimm Museum and Fredericianum Museum.
